Pick one of our on-premise (you host) installation archives. Clarive runs on your own Linux servers, next to your own MongoDB.

Installation instructions

Up and running in three steps

  1. Have MongoDB ready

    Make sure you have a MongoDB instance available, or download and install MongoDB (latest version recommended).

  2. Download Clarive

    Pick your platform below: a production release, or a nightly build to test what's coming.

  3. Unpack and set up

    Extract the archive and run bin/cla setup. The commands under the downloads follow the archive you pick.

Then install it

$ tar -xzf clarive_7.22_linux-rhel-9-x86_64.tar.gz$ cd clarive_7.22_linux-rhel-9-x86_64/clarive$ bin/cla setup

ClaX agent download

An agent for every target server

ClaX is the lightweight Clarive agent that runs on your target servers to enable remote deployments, file transfers, and command execution.

  • Download ClaX for your OS (Windows, MacOS, Linux) from ClaX Releases.
  • Read the installation instructions.
  • If you already have ClaX installed and need help upgrading, use the following command:
    $ cla clax-upgrade
