Clarive Product and Pricing FAQ

Is Clarive really free?

Yes. It’s absolutely free, up to 25 users or nodes.

What’s the difference between free and team editions?

The team software is exactly the same as the free edition, but it allows you to go over the 25 user/node limit.

What’s the difference between team and biz?

The biz edition offers advanced security features, such as LDAP integration, OpenID and SAML support, user groups and roles and limits self-registration so that only organizational users can register.

What’s the Clarive Enterprise pricing like?

Clarive Enterprise pricing is also user and node-based, but we offer volume discounts and perpetual licenses depending on the case. Price also depends on the different options, such as platforms and connectors.

Do you have a free cloud version?

Not yet. Given the optimization and scale that a free cloud version requires, we’re still working on a scalable solution that can handle the very high provisioning loads. What does “users or nodes” mean?

It means each user and each node will consume one license. Say your team of 5 people continuously integrate and deploy to 10 servers. That’s 15 out of your 25 licenses.

Why limit the number of users and nodes in the free edition?

Our free edition is just as powerful as the team version. No freemium features. We believe most teams can be fully operational with just the free edition, and 25 users and nodes should suffice and is more than most collaboration tools offer. Should you outgrow the 25 licenses, or just prefer to get access to support, switch to team.

What’s the enterprise edition?

Clarive Standard Edition only delivers Git and. Enterprise edition goes beyond that and allows you to deliver applications from many different change sources, such as Salesforce, SAP, Siebel, ChangeMan, ServiceNow, and many more. Enterprise edition also has many advanced administration features, such as enterprise-grade custom reports, custom form rules, advanced dashboards, provisioning and a complete integrated DevOps IDE. Clarive Enterprise is an ARA product.

Where is your cloud hosted?

We use AWS for our cloud. We deploy our instances in any region you may need, just let us know your preferences.
